Staff Accountant
Arlington, VA (Onsite, 5 days/week)

A fast-growing, private tech company supporting the national security sector is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its in-office team. This role offers high visibility, hands-on experience across the full accounting cycle, and exposure to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month/quarter/year-end close

• Post journal entries & reconciliations

• Support AP/AR and internal reporting

• Improve processes and help with system upgrades (NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify)

• Ensure compliance and support audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1–5 years of progressive accounting experience

• CPA or public accounting background a plus

• Startup or high-growth experience preferred

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing to work onsite full-time
