    We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant. This position ensures the accuracy of financial records, safeguards company assets, and supports timely financial reporting.

    ****Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage general ledger accounting, fixed assets, and state and local tax filings.
    • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger through regular account reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction reviews.
    • Prepare weekly financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial regulations.
    • Process journal entries and accruals to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts and fixed asset schedules.
    • Prepare consolidated financial statements for subsidiary entities.
    • Analyze and reconcile perpetual inventory balances against the general ledger.
    • Maintain detailed records of fixed asset transactions and depreciation.
    • Respond to audit requests across multiple business units and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver required data.
    • Collaborate with other accounting and finance professionals, as well as other departments, to support overall financial operations.
    • Prepare periodic financial summaries for management, including reporting for respective business units.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics.
    • Experience with fixed asset accounting software preferred.
