    Location: Wake County, NC

    Our firm handles a wide range of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and more, with a focus on constructive resolution through negotiation and litigation when necessary.     This position is open to both mid-level and senior family law attorneys who are looking for a long-term home to continue building their careers and reputations in family law.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage a caseload primarily focused in Wake County, with occasional matters in neighboring counties

    • Represent clients in family law issues including child custody, child support, equitable distribution, and spousal support

    • Handle cases through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation

    • Work closely with clients to provide sound legal counsel and effective advocacy

    • Contribute to the firm’s continued growth through high-quality legal work and community involvement

    Qualifications:

    • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in North Carolina

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in family law required

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience

    • Ability to manage cases independently while also working collaboratively

    • Senior-level candidates should ideally bring a portable book of business and be board-certified or actively pursuing certification in family law

    Compensation & Structure:

    • Salary plus commission structure

    • Target billable rate: $300–$400/hour

    • Minimum annual billable requirement: 1,200 hours
