This is a 100% onsite position in Salem with a generally 40-hour workweek and flexibility around scheduling. Additional hours are expected during busy season, with options for additional compensation or time off outside of busy season.

The culture is one of the things that makes this opportunity especially attractive. It’s a small, established, close-knit firm with an experienced team that genuinely enjoys working together. They value people who are capable, collaborative, easygoing, and willing to learn from one another. There is autonomy without micromanagement and an opportunity to become an important part of the practice rather than simply another accountant in a large firm. For someone thinking longer term, there is meaningful opportunity here. The right person can gradually take ownership of clients, increase their earning potential based on production, and potentially position themselves for future partnership. They are looking for someone who wants to build something over time and become an integral part of the firm. Benefits include 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for the employee, a 401(k) with a 6% employer contribution, vacation and sick time, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, FSA, and flexible scheduling.

If you’re already a CPA or actively taking your CPA exams and are looking for a smaller firm where you can build meaningful client relationships, continue developing your tax expertise, and have the opportunity to grow into a significant role within the practice, reach out to Jennie Joiner directly to find out more or apply online today!
