Our client, an early-stage software startup, is hiring a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to join its founding team and help build the operating system for business aviation.
This is a high-impact role for an experienced, high-agency engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and is comfortable owning complex problems end-to-end—from backend architecture to frontend experience.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and evolve an AI-driven agent that powers core interactions across the platform
Lead full-stack development across backend, middleware, and frontend, supporting key workflows such as trip management and request generation
Integrate with external flight management systems to provide real-time aircraft availability and live transponder data
Develop and scale dispatch tools used to manage aircraft fleets and pilot operations, including an iOS-first pilot application
Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Claude and similar technologies) to accelerate development and improve engineering workflows
Take ownership of features from concept through production, driving both technical and product decisions
What We're Looking For
**5–10+ years of full-stack engineering experience, including time spent in early-stage startup environments (pre–Series C preferred)
**
Demonstrated ability to take products or major features from concept to production (0→1 or scaling phases)
Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
Experience incorporating AI into product development or internal workflows
Familiarity with containerization and infrastructure tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
High-agency mindset with the ability to operate independently and move quickly with minimal direction
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (strong academic background preferred)
Clear track record of excellence through prior work, leadership, or technical achievement
This is a chance to join a founding team building a category-defining platform in business aviation, with significant ownership, autonomy, and influence over both product direction and technical architecture.
