  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Compilation, reduction, and analysis of hydrogeologic, geologic, and geotechnical data in support of advanced modeling work using spreadsheets, databases, GIS, and other relevant software and tools.
    • Support senior staff in building conceptual and numerical hydrogeologic models.
    • Assist with calibration and coupling of geotechnical and hydrogeologic models.
    • Additional office duties include preparation of CAD drawings and geologic wireframes, authoring written summaries detailing work conducted, and assisting with preparation of proposals and reports.
    • Field work includes well/aquifer testing using a variety of methods, installation of fully grouted piezometers, and installation of open standpipe piezometers.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in hydrogeology, geology, or related discipline
    • 0-4 years' of experience
    • Course work/experience using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, FEFLOW, MODFLOW
    • The position involves domestic and international travel
    • Professional registration considered a plus
    • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
    • Ability to travel for field work
    • Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Familiarity with programming languages, including Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++ —a valuable asset in adapting and optimizing processes in a technical consulting environment
    • Course work in groundwater modeling and geotechnical or mining engineering is considered a plus
    • Ready to work with a safety-first mindset both in and out of the field

    Schedule: Full time, normal business hours
