    Staff Pharmacist – No Weekends, No Holidays + Sign-On Bonus!

    Candidate must be available Monday-Friday from 7am until the pharmacy is closed at 7pm.

    Seeking a candidate with a passion to improve the health of the community in an outpatient/retail setting for people often presenting with barriers to receiving or understanding health care. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well with a large pharmacy team (staff of 25+). Preference given to those with experience with any of the following: independent pharmacy practice, 340B program, custom medication packaging, immunizations, and mental health medications. ****

    EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not be all inclusive.)

    • Accept, validate, interpret and process prescription orders.
    • Initiate and complete calls with providers regarding appropriate drug therapy.
    • Answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage of pharmaceuticals.
    • Verify technician's preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, order entries, charges, and inspections.
    • Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
    • Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B pharmacies.
    • Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceutical; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
    • Responsible for Formulary Management – including Therapeutic Interchange or Substitution, and Coverage Review Programs.

    **Education: **Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required

    **Experience: ** Minimum 1-year experience

    **Certificate/License: ** Current state license to practice pharmacy
