Our team fills prescriptions accurately and quickly, but more importantly, we know our patients by name. We're looking for a dependable, patient-focused pharmacist to grow with us.

    Position Summary

    The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, direct patient counseling, and the day-to-day clinical and operational flow of the pharmacy. You'll work closely with the owner and technician team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your clinical judgment and customer service directly shape the patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and in compliance with federal and NJ state law

    Counsel patients on medications, side effects, interactions, and adherence

    Administer immunizations (flu, COVID-19, shingles, etc.)

    Perform final verification and oversee the workflow of pharmacy technicians

    Resolve third-party insurance and adjudication issues; manage prior authorizations

    Maintain accurate patient records and controlled-substance documentation

    Manage inventory, ordering, and returns; minimize waste and out-of-stocks

    Deliver clinical services such as MTM, point-of-care testing, and med sync where applicable

    Build and maintain relationships with local prescribers and patients

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations

    Qualifications (Required)

    Active, unrestricted New Jersey pharmacist license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)

    Current immunization certification (APhA or equivalent)

    Current CPR/BLS certification

    Strong attention to detail and clinical decision-making

    Excellent communication and patient-service skills

    Preferred (Nice to Have)

    Prior independent or retail community pharmacy experience

    Familiarity with [pharmacy software Micromerchant]

    Experience with compounding, MTM, or point-of-care testing

    Bilingual [language] a plus

    Comfort with a smaller, hands-on team environment
