    Job Summary

    To provide high-quality care to all patients. To assist in directing staff in the support of the care of our patients. We are seeking a Physician with experience in Occupational Medicine/Workers’ Compensation to provide evaluation and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in workers’ compensation guidelines, able to complete required documentation, and committed to delivering high-quality care while supporting safe return-to-work outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    Provide high-quality patient care.

    Manage all patient care while on shift

    Supervise all clinical staff while on shift

    Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion

    Process biological specimens when needed

    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Evaluate and treat patients with occupational injuries and illnesses

    Provide accurate medical documentation consistent with workers’ compensation requirements.

    Coordinate with employers, case managers, and insurance representatives to support patient recovery and return to work.

    Conduct pre-employment and return-to-work physicals as needed.

    Qualifications

    Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience)

    Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family

    Professional appearance and attitude

    Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required

    Ability to multi-task and work independently

    Current medical license and board certification (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine preferred).

    Prior experience in occupational health and/or workers’ compensation cases strongly preferred.

    Strong communication and documentation skills.
