They power the operational backbone for thousands of multi-location businesses (think end-to-end workflow, payments, reporting, and integrations), and they’re now in a modernization + scale phase with new leadership and a mandate to ship faster.

Head of Engineering is rebuilding velocity, culture, and technical foundation. He’s hiring for a cornerstone hire: a well-rounded full-stack Staff Engineer to lead by example, ship fast, and help level up the team. Not a seat-filler — a hands-on builder/executioner.

Title: Staff Software Engineer — Full Stack (TypeScript / Next.js)
Location: Columbia, MO (Hybrid — Central Time Zone Preferred)
Compensation: Up to $150K base depending on experience

What you’ll do

• Ship features and increase delivery speed
• Build across the TypeScript stack (Next.js/React + Node services/APIs)
• Mentor and unblock the team; introduce stronger engineering habits
• Partner with Product/Ops to turn real problems into clean solutions
• Contribute to an AI-forward platform (features + internal tooling)

• 8+ years experience; production TypeScript (frontend + backend)
• Real Next.js/React shipped to prod + meaningful backend reps
