JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an Associate I to join our Client Services team at our Philadelphia office. This role combines various responsibilities and is part of the Client Support Services (CSS) area. The CSS teams are dedicated to handling contracts, claims, and accounting for specific client accounts worldwide.
As a Reinsurance Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for the technical processing of premiums for assigned client accounts. Your primary focus will be ensuring strict compliance with operational guidelines to meet the highest standards of service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and various system tools to effectively manage complex transactional processes.
- Generate comprehensive information on accounting and claims processes for Request For Proposal (RFP) and sales opportunities to drive business growth.
- Timely settlement of funds to and from clients, ensuring adherence to contractual payment terms, warranties, and conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a 4-year college.
- 2-5 years of professional work experience in insurance, reinsurance, or risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a high-performance team, with strong attention to detail in completing tasks.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to proposing and implementing solutions to improve processes in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing workloads and effectively meeting the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
