    Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator to manage staff scheduling, optimize workforce allocation, and ensure that scheduling and staffing needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and strong communication abilities to facilitate smooth coordination between departments and personnel.

    Key Responsibilities

    Staffing Coordination: - Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and labor demand fluctuations. - Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process to fill staffing gaps effectively. - Maintain an updated roster of staff qualifications, availability, and certifications.

    Scheduling Management: - Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and operations. - Adjust schedules as necessary, considering employee availability, leave requests, and unforeseen changes. - Handle time-off requests and absences, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

    Communication: - Serve as the primary point of contact for staff regarding scheduling inquiries, changes, and conflicts. - Provide timely notifications of schedule changes and updates to all relevant personnel. - Facilitate regular communication with management and staff regarding staffing needs and availability.

    Database Management: - Maintain and update scheduling software and personnel databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information. - Prepare and analyze reports related to labor utilization, overtime, and scheduling efficiency.

    Compliance & Best Practices: - Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations in all staffing and scheduling practices. - Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for staffing and scheduling processes.

    Qualifications:

    -Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.- Previous experience in staffing, scheduling, or human resources is required(2-3 years preferred).- Proficient in using scheduling software; experience with Timeco & Covr systems is a plus.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive relationships across departments & sister communities.- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
