We are a Salem Personal Injury Law Firm that deals in medical records and insurance issues. We are looking for a Paralegal/Legal Administrative Assistant who has experience with either insurance, OR medical records, ideally both.
If you have previous experience in those fields and are looking to make a change into law, this might be the right fit for you!
Interview clients for case histories before meetings
Update and manage client records
Help clients with initial paperwork
Schedule and coordinate appointments
Understanding insurance claims and compliance with law requirements
Use legal software to support attorneys.
Control receivable and payable accounts and maintain financial records
Answer clients' queries and ensure excellent customer service
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to help with client onboarding, schedule meetings, and order office supplies
Keep up-to-date with changes in medical coding and insurance legislation
Proven work experience in medical coding and or billing.
Proven work experience working with insurance.
Hands-on experience with medical software and MS Office
Experience with healthcare operations
Understanding of medical and insurance legislation
Superior organizational and multitasking skills
Client-oriented communication skills
