Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Use Tax Accountant (Multi-State 30+) With E-commerce Experience to join our client's team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our client's company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, filing taxes in at least 30+states, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS- Accounting with Taxation Emphasis
• CPA Preferred
• MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE (meaning you use it now or have recently) of Vertex or One-Source
• Previous experience in retail/ecommerce and manufacturing
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office - with special emphasis on Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
