Job Description

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related field

• 8+ years proven accounting experience
• 5+ years in commercial real estate required

Responsibilities:

Help build FP&A function through creation of and maintaining financial forecasting models

• Develop and manage cash flow forecasting
• Manage tax filings for partnerships, LLC’s, individuals, non-profit and trusts including preparation of workpapers and coordination with outside CPA; final review of tax returns; responsible for timely filing and payments of tax obligations
• Manage annual insurance policy renewals; evaluate requirements and ensure proper coverage of assets
• High-level review of the monthly financial reporting including financial statements, account reconciliations, variance analyses, cash flow statements, capital expenditure reports and performance dashboards
• Overall responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting and analyses through oversight of accounting manager; ensure data is accurate, complete, and timely and presented in a professional format
• Develop and maintain investment ledgers for alternative private investments that track investment details, cash flows, performance, K-1 attributes and tax basis
