    This position is for a growing company that has a lot of room for potential advancement down the road. They are calling it an Accountant position but it is more so a payroll processer. You will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing for a multi-site/multi- division business. In addition, the accountant will back-up other positions in the department when needed. This is a hands-on position that reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Weekly Payroll Processing for all of the business entities:
    • Timesheet review for project-based business, make necessary PR corrections as needed, review employee profiles for accurate payroll processing including updating wage changes and proper cost center set-up for employees, import timesheet data from Paylocity back into the accounting software (GP), maintaining GP with all new employees to process weekly payroll.
    • Submit and fund 401K contributions:
    • Review Paylocity export file to Empower and record entries in GP

    Concur Expense Tracking:

    • Set-up new employees in Concur, inactivate termed employees, import new jobs list, assign new cards to correct employee.

    Month End/Weekly Accounting/Other Reporting:

    • Download bank statement and reconcile bank account (weekly), monthly credit card reconciliation, upload safe pay data for vendor checks to bank, open jobs in GP, Paylocity, and Concur, submit prevailing wage reports when required, assist Accounting Manager and CFO as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Heavy payroll processing experience - Paylocity.
    • Experience with a service business timekeeping and job tracking.
    • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite required.
    • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains/Dynamics.
    • Ability to work independently, strong organization skills and multi-tasking ability. Ability to solve problems, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with vendors and employees.

    Pay is negotiable DOE, but in the $28-32/HR
