Netsync Network Solutions is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of Staging Intern, specializing in Cisco Network Services. As Intern, specific job responsibilities will vary by client engagement but will focus primarily on Cisco Network architecture, system design, and implementation.
Roles and responsibilites
- Work with Netsync Staging team in our Warehouse, not remote
- Support, learn, and execute staging of Cisco equipment:
- Flash images to devices
- Run Burn-in an DOA protocols to ensure the equipment is not defective
- Rack and un-rack equipment
- Apply device configurations
- Implement and support network solutions for clients based on industry and Netsync best practices.
- Ability to learn and apply presented Cisco technologies and skills.
- Work hours are from 7AM – 4PM in Netsync's Dallas Warehouse.
Additional duties
- Individual should be able to lift 50 lbs.
Skills and experience
- Minimum and limited exposure to related network services design/implementation experience including:
- Power and cooling related to Cisco Networking equipment
- Cisco Access Routers
- Cisco Catalyst Switches
- Cisco Access Points (APs)
- Cisco Layer 2 Switching
- Cisco Layer 3 Routing Protocols
- Minimum knowledge and related experience in network environments, including: network engineering (hardware and software); and implementing LANs and WANs.
- Good verbal communications and written documentation skills.
