    Title: Software Programmer – I

    Location: Syracuse, NY

    Duration: 2 Years Contract

     

    NO CORP. TO CORP. OR 3RD PARTY ONLY W2 CANDIDATES

    ONSITE POSITION

     

    SOFTWARE PROGRAMMING –

    An individual with all the skills and knowledge necessary to build custom applications for the editing, reporting, and manipulation of Engineering data. Program or server knowledge of SharePoint, Access, SQL, HTML, and Visual Basic a must. 3-5 years of experience

     

    JOB DUTIES:

    Responsible for database administration, data consolidation, data analysis and management reporting. Utilizes various types of software to generate reports that track metrics and develops actionable recommendations. Provides support to engineering and operations teams by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results based on the needs of end users. Collaborates with various organizations and teams.

     

     

    MUST HAVE SKILLS:

    SharePoint Designer (3-5 yrs)

    Visual Basic/ Macro Development (3-5 yrs)

    Website Design and Programming

    Microsoft Access (Expert)

    Microsoft Excel (Expert)

     

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    Communication and Team Working abilities

    Problem Solving

    Critical and analytical thinking

    Self Starter

    Ability to Work under Pressure and to strict deadlines

     

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Programming/ or similar field is required
