MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER

Viejas is San Diego’s premier Four Diamond casino & resort, and we want you to be a part of our team! We are looking for an experienced and talented Multimedia Designer to join our Advertising Team. You will have an opportunity to work with an impressive and creative media team who are responsible for all Viejas advertising and branding.  

Job functions include:

• Managing design/builds from concept to implementation, with focus on website management and web development.
• Oversee operations and deployment of CMS and current outbound web content
• Work with SEO/ SEM strategy and development
• Prioritizing, developing and implementing projects based on job assignments, and assigned departmental requests
• Generating media content primarily for web, in addition to print, billboard, collateral, out of home, digital signage, and television
• Designing and developing concepts and direction for a variety of projects
• Proposing, directing, and creating multimedia graphics and photography
• Integrating provided copy and text content in layout for design/build
• Ensuring work is consistent with organization branding and industry best practices

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in web and multimedia design
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Journalism, Design Production preferred
• Fluent knowledge of Macintosh and PC operating systems
• Knowledge of design and layout software such as Adobe Applications
• Skilled in proper use of large format printing devices from set-up to completion
• Knowledge of 3 screen design layout (web, TV, and digital signage)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.

2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.

3. Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.

4. Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces. Work at heights.

5. Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.

6. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to a variety of states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
