Data Modeler I acts as a liaison between the Database Administrator (DBA) and the requirements team for a low complexity IT project. The candidate performs business data flow analysis, design data model/business entity, data dictionary and database authorization during the IT project development cycle. Works with DBA to generate the database table structure, indexes and user authorization design for database creation. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Post graduate degree desired. 1-2 years experience in data modeling.
The person will work remotely majority of the time, but may need to attend face-to-face meeting on demand occasionally. Dont require driving/traveling or a phone
Looking for a junior Data Model 1. This candidate will need to possess the following:
Essential Job Functions and Skills
Must have basic understanding of relational data modeling.
Basic understanding of creating logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy / the ability to translate business needs into Data Model
Maintain logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata
Follow best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models
Knowledge of Data Definition Language (DDL) / Generate model changes into DDL scripts. Preferably Oracle
Two Years¿ experience of Data Modeling
Strong learning ability / Self Driven / Good Communication Skills
Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
Manage work assignments and deliverables, by prioritization, status and time reporting
Nice To Have
Data Modeling Tools experience; Preferably Erwin
Understand SQL Statements
Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts
Required Skills Required Experience
Provides medical nutrition therapy by completing nutrition assessments, utilizing standards of care to accurately assess patients and implement care plans to ensure patient dietary needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
Educates medical staff and counsels patients and their families on proper nutrition care.
Participates on multidisciplinary teams composed of physicians, nurses, social workers and other allied health team members.
Provides advice on clinical related issues at departmental and inter-departmental committees/ meetings
Maintains accurate records/ documentation of patient care in the Medical Record.
Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, nutrition care, special diets and menu requests.
Stays current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications and standards of practice.
Provide support and serves as consultant to other dietitians, interns and health team members regarding diet counseling and nutritional management.
Probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate resources when necessary.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and department/ hospital policies and procedures (e.g. HIPAA/ Privacy act, safety, operations, personnel).
