Women's Breast Imaging Nurse Navigator - full time
The Women’s Imaging Breast Nurse Navigator functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team of care providers who reflect a culture of sensitivity, cooperation, enthusiasm and mutual respect. The Navigator is responsible for coordinating the interdisciplinary team of providers to best serve the newly diagnosed breast cancer patient and thoroughly understands and operates the Radiology Information System and the Mammography Information System as it pertains to job functions. This process includes assessment, education, and continuity of care for the patient and family. In collaboration with the appropriate Physician specialists, Nursing staff and community partners, this Nurse Navigator also coordinates breast cancer patient care services and education.
Full time: Monday through Friday; 8-hour days
