    GENERAL SUMMARY

    Provides supervision and leadership to the Slot Technicians on their assigned shift. Ensures fast, friendly, timely and thorough repair and maintenance of all slot related equipment while adhering to all laws, gaming regulations, policies and procedures. Act as an expert on the proper operation and repair of slot equipment and counsel’s management and the Gaming Commission/representative on machine, regulatory and customer complaint issues and problems.

    CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

    • Leads Slot Technicians in providing fast, friendly, courteous, and helpful service to all guests.
    • Directly supervises Slot Technicians including providing team members with schedules, work assignments, training, directions, accountability for results (follow-up), rewards, disciplinary actions, information, and performance reviews.
    • Ensures all machine repairs are performed in a timely and professional manner and all documentation is completed thoroughly and accurately.
    • Assigns Slot Technicians to daily tasks.
    • Keeps current with the latest slot industry technical developments and makes recommendations to management to ensure that Viejas is always on the "forefront" of relevant trends.
    • Safeguards company assets.
    • Responsible for the installations, removal, conversion, and relocation of games.
    • Makes certain that all slot areas are clean and safe.
    • Ensures that all laws, gaming regulations, policies and procedures are followed.
    • Promotes teamwork within Slot Operations and with other departments.
    • Practices Viejas Guest Service Standards while performing job duties and responsibilities.
    • Expected to learn new platforms and products as well as assisting others in the learning process.
    • Coordinate with and assist Slot Supervisors.
    • As directed by the Slot Technical Manager, responsible for administration and maintenance of all gaming machines, systems, and sub-systems.
    • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to adjust to change.
    • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel a plus.
    • Ability to work flexible schedules including days, weekends, overnight and holidays.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

    • Must be 21 years of age, or older.
    • AA Degree in Electronics preferred, but not mandatory

    EXPERIENCE

    • 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3 years management experience.
    • 3 years slot performance experience.
