Job Description
Great summer gig selling cheese at local farmers markets on Saturdays, and some weekdays available. Pay is $18+ per hour. The farmers market season runs from May through October. We're looking for people who enjoy working independently, talking with people, love great cheese, and are really dependable.
A typical farmers market day involves waking up early, coming to our shop and loading the van with cheese and market supplies, driving to market, selling cheese at your market from around 7 am until 1 pm, driving back to the shop, and unloading. Days are 8 to 10 hours, depending on market duration and drive time. Some heavy lifting is involved. (Cheese is heavy!)
Weekend market positions are needed, and a few weekday shifts are available. If you're interested, please send an email and tell us a little about your background and interest. It's an enjoyable gig, great for someone looking for something outdoors on the weekends.
We look forward to hearing from you!
