Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, organize, and load daily deliveries into company provided vehicle.
Ability to safely navigate Large Delivery vehicle in and out of various traffic and road conditions. Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
Efficiently and safely deliver Amazon packages to customer homes, apartments, and business locations.
Ability to remain in a positive and professional manner with customers, other team members, and the general public while delivering products, as well as, in the office.
Daily use of handheld technology to receive delivery information, manage delivery progress, and complete RTS Close out documentation.
Ability to problem solve unforeseen obstacles
WHAT TO EXPECT:
LCM Logistics delivers packages for Amazon to houses, mobile parks, apartments, and businesses.
Associate need to be able to lift and carry packages, sometimes up to 50 pounds each (though most are much lighter) with or without reasonable accommodation.
Associate will sometimes need to walk up flights of stairs to deliver with or without reasonable accommodation.
Associate may make more than 150 stops per day and need to get in and out of the van each time with or without reasonable accommodation.
Associate will be provided rest and meal breaks and will be required to take them each day (it’s in their interest to do so).
Routes may be in similar areas, but no guarantee of route location each day.
Associate will need to find addresses via GPS and use technology that is continually being improved.
The provided routing system is also continuously improving and “learns” with every delivery route completed.
Training routes are provided for two weeks with the expectation that they build to a full route.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old.
Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of Arizona with a good driving record.
Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
Ability to safely operate and navigate a van up to gross weight 10,000 lbs.
Ability to effectively operate a GPS and Additional handheld Technology.
Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds.
Capable of climbing up and down stairs many times a day.
