POSITION OVERVIEW:
Toyota Certified Service Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and make necessary repairs in a professional manner and quality.
- Toyota Certified technician with a minimum of 3 ASE certifications. 
 
- Detailed and efficient, 2 plus years of experience with knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostic, engine, transmission, electrical, steering & suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. 
 
- You continuously learn new technical information through Toyota Training and on-site training. 
 
- You are reliable individual with a strong work ethic. 
 
- You are a team player and maintain a positive attitude. 
 
- You are customer focused and hold yourself accountable to a high standard of high quality of work. 
 
- Fast paced environment and manage priorities. 
 
- Update on vehicle mechanical operations. 
 
- Update to date on all E-Learning Toyota Modules.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and follow dealership standards. 
 
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs and explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers. 
 
- Advise ASM of needed repairs with parts and labor. Advise of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order or the vehicle. 
 
- Advise ASM through communication if any additional service is needed and estimate of the time required to complete repairs. 
 
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. 
 
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications 
 
- Perform quality repairs; have a "fix the vehicle right the first time" mentality. 
 
- Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and other pertinent information to describe repair activities.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience as a service technician 
 
- 3 ASE certifications. 
 
- Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record 
 
- Attention to detail 
 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
