Job Description

We are a busy MRI billing and collection company seeking to fill a full time MRI Billing & Collection Supervisor. The MRI Billing & Collection Supervisor must have 2+ years’ experience in No-Fault, WC, NY & NJ PIP claims, working with verification request responses, appeals, follow ups, and aging reports. Candidate MUST have knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 codes.

*Responsibilities:

• Payment posting
• Work denials
• Claim follow-ups
• Arbitration/ Liens
• Collections
• Verification request/responses
• Aging reports for accounts receivable
• Calling insurance companies at various stages of the claims process
• Negotiation
• Preparing reports
• Prepare medical records

*Desired Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in the medical field
• Knowledge of No-Fault, WC, NY & NJ PIP claim rules and regulations
• Thorough knowledge and working experience of CPT and ICD10 codes, HIPAA, medical terminology
• Excellent customer service mindset and superb communication skills (written, oral and electronic)
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in Excel
