QA TECHNICIAN

WINDSOR , CA

JOB DUTIES :

Provide quality control support to Manufacturing, participate in troubleshooting of quality issues with manufacturing builds.

· Act as a liaison for quality issue between Manufacturing and Engineering

· Prepare inspection plans for Manufacturing, as well as quality records and documentation (quality procedures and work instructions) as required.

· Complete documentation necessary for the support of inspection or testing, including inventory forms, data capture forms and equipment logbooks.

· Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly and ensure safety during operation of equipment.

· Assist QA Manager in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns and customer complaints.

· Assist with incoming inspection as required.

· Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc.

· Work with the ERP system (SAP)

· Spot checks on the Manufacturing floor during assembly for sign-offs

· Must be able to read and take METRIC measurements

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

· English speaking

· Ideally comes from a Manufacturing Environment, can use calipers
