    Job Description

    The Starcom Advanced Analytics & Insights (AAI) team draws on the dynamic advertising technology space, digital and offline analytics, and evolving methodologies to address complex research and measurement challenges across Starcom client brands.  We are looking for talented individuals who are incredibly passionate about data, ad tech, and problem-solving to join the team. The Manager will play a key role in defining the requirements and roadmap to improve data governance and automate workflows that will power decision engines to optimize analysis for campaign performance and spend. The individual shall have a proven track record of developing product requirements and strategies to solve complex business problems, collaborating with teams to ensure data governance requirements are met.

     

    ROLE OBJECTIVES:

    • Work closely with key stakeholders and users to define and prioritize product requirements and contribute to certain strategic planning activities and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in client Data Science & Data Engineering Calls to discuss data updates, provide additional data clarification, respond to any product issues and ensure data governance requirements are met.
    • Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories and use cases that engineering and development teams can easily implement and partner with engineering and support to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.
    • Develop and manage a new process to integrate KPIs from client dashboards into existing cross-channel campaign performance reporting.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, set and communicate realistic timelines and deliverables.
    • Assist in developing training materials and be the subject matter expert to provide demos, education, and training to drive adoption of the product.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, engineering, statistics, marketing, or similar discipline

    • Experience with advertising technologies and digital data

    • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

    • Excellent organizational skills; capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and communicate with all levels of management

    • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively

    • Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

    • Ability to communicate complex concepts to a nontechnical audience

    • Ability to translate business needs and requirements to a technical audience

    • Proven track record of setting product development targets and delivering results a must, including experience authoring requirements

    • Knowledge of statistical software packages and coding languages (egg SAS, SPSS, R, Python) and experience with Tableau, Datorama and SQL is a plus
