WHAT IS THE FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM?  The Future Leaders Program is a virtual, half day intense look at media career opportunities, designed primarily for minority students in their final year of college. Students are immersed in media training and case studies to experience the life of a media associate. During the program they will interact with key executives and line managers and gain insight into typical media projects and scenarios. The activities conclude with virtual interviews the week of April 21st for full-time consideration for placement upon graduation.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM?

This program offers students who have an interest in a media career the opportunity to gain a greater understanding and insight into the day-to-day activities and career paths of media professionals.

EVENT OVERVIEW:

• STARCOM OVERVIEW AND HISTORY 
• PANEL DISCUSSION WITH LEADERS FROM OUR BUSINESS RESOURCES GROUPS
• CASE STUDY OVERVIEW ON THE CONSUMER OF THE FUTURE/GENERATION Z/MULTICULTURAL MEDIA
• Q&A SESSION WITH PREVIOUS FUTURE LEADERS PARTICIPANTS
• INTERVIEW WORKSHOP WITH TALENT ACQUISITION
• VIRTUAL HAPPY HOUR WITH MEMBERS OF STARCOM’S BUSINESS RESOURCE GROUPS AND LEADERSHIP TEAM

HOW MANY PARTICIPANTS ARE SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?

Although the number of participants will vary each year, we are targeting 30 candidates for 2021.

WHAT ARE THE PROGRAM DATES AND WHERE IS THE PROGRAM LOCATED?

This program will be virtual and taking place on THURSDAY, APRIL 14TH 11-5PM CST

QUALIFICATIONS

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE PROGRAM?

Future Leaders program is primarily intended for minority students.  You may apply to the program if you meet the following:

• You must have the permanent, unrestricted right to work in the US
• Interested in pursuing a full-time employment opportunity in Chicago, IL, New York, NY, Detroit, MI and/or Los Angeles, CA upon graduation
