THE POSITION
The primary responsibility of the Senior Director of Marketing is to develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to build customer count at each of the restaurants in their local market. Since there are no more than two locations per market, a national media program is not warranted currently. The primary marketing will be at the local level.
The Sr. Director will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and be a key member of the Executive management team.
The position will require extensive travel to the individual units to work with local management on implementing the local marketing programs. The Sr. Director can work remotely, or in our office in Fargo.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Director will be responsible for all marketing activities at the Company including, but not limited to:
· Budgeting and control of marketing expenses
· Digital Marketing
· Marketing collateral for the restaurants
· Local marketing contracts and vendors
· New store openings
· Chainwide promotions
· On going market and competitive analysis
EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in the hospitality industry. Prior experience with a national restaurant chain a major plus.
The candidate must have hands-on experience with digital marketing, in-store promotions, loyalty programs, local store marketing, budgeting, print and billboards. Experience in menu development a plus.
Sickie’s is a fast-acting high energy company, and the candidate must be comfortable working in this environment. There is no bureaucracy.
