  • Responsibilities

    Plastic Manufacturing Company is looking for Process Engineers that will oversee and improve operational the efficiency performance of multiple blown departments, film extrusion lines, converting lines, laminators, slitters, and printing presses, recycling lines and numerous auxiliary equipment required to run the manufacturing plant.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work in different departments (Quality Control, Flexographic, Printing, Lamination, Extrusion)
    • Experience working in Production data analysis.
    • Coordinate and analyze all production orders running and/or scheduled to run using knowledge of the manufacturing processes of flexible packaging products, which includes the ability to process blown film extrusion and the conversion and Flexographic printing process of these films.
    • Provide technical oversight to minimize unplanned downtime and ensure the products meet stringent customer specifications and the company’s quality control standards.
    • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a Food Safety and Quality Management System.
    • Assist production employees to achieve established Company goals related to safety, food safety, quality, productivity, scrap reduction, and profitability in accordance with GMPs and HACCP.
    • Implement, monitor, and maintain manufacturing best practices, including 5S, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (Wis), Visual Aids (Vas), Statistical Process Controls (SPCs), trial support and performance metric tracking.
    • Provide regular reports on operational efficiency and labor utilization to assess status of the Company’s goals and objectives.
    • Analyze time studies to calculate employee workloads and productivity.
    • Complete and maintain all required training in compliance with all applicable regulations.
    • 24/7 operation with the need for shift flexibility.

    Experience :

    • Preferred experience working in manufacturing, Quality control Flexographic or lamination areas.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
    • 1 - 5 years of Engineer experience
    • Strong organizational and communication Skills
    • Bilingual
