We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software and Data Engineer with over 3 years of experience to join our team. As a Associate Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with our clients, interacting directly with them to understand their requirements, consult on best practices, and design and construct innovative solutions to address their technical challenges. This role requires excellent teamwork and working independently, often interfacing directly with the customer.

The ideal candidate will be highly responsive to customer needs, anticipating and proactively addressing technical and political challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a consultative approach to solving complex technical issues are essential. Experience in software engineering, data integration, data modeling, SQL skills, and business analysis is necessary.

While the position primarily operates within a remote virtual environment, occasional travel may be required for on-site engagements. Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications and tools to support data engineering efforts.

Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting to provide insights and support business decision-making.

Support the implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes.

Develop and maintain data models to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Support the implementation of cloud-based solutions.

Perform data analysis and ensure data quality and integrity across various platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide support for data-related inquiries.

Consult with clients to capture, document, and analyze business requirements/business rules.

Interface with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.

Manage daily work within a remote virtual environment with occasional travel as needed.

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required (STEM curriculum preferred)

Required Skills:

Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Tableau experience is a plus.

Knowledge of data ingestion using ETL/ELT, Script, or Stored Procedures.

Solid understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data solutions.

Knowledge of the .NET framework, relational database and a good understanding of Python, C#, HTML and JavaScript.

Experience with ASP.NET or MVC and knowledge of front-end languages, such as Angular, vue.js, react.js or other frameworks will be considered an asset.
