    Create maximum engagement across the digital environment for STARZ Original Programming by managing the development and execution of consumer-facing marketing initiatives and programs that touch a variety of digital channels.  Work with agencies and internal groups to implement customer-centric online marketing experiences that extend the show brand, grow the social fan base(s), and increase general awareness of STARZ Original Programming. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Manage STARZ Original programming digital marketing initiatives, which include social media, digital experiences, email marketing, YouTube, and paid media campaigns.
    • Oversee multiple social channels (ie: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr) for a given STARZ original series, from the development of a cohesive social strategy to the execution of a detailed editorial content calendar.
    • Perform social media community management duties when necessary, including copywriting, posting, live tweeting, replying to fans, etc.
    • Partner with the marketing and publicity teams on strategy and creative to ensure optimization of all programs with a focus on driving viewership, engagement and ultimately subscriptions.
    • Collaborate with digital agencies to ideate and create compelling, innovative digital experiences and custom content that drive engagement and awareness (i.e. - microsites, apps, games, etc).
    • Maintain robust knowledge of digital media and technology marketplaces, research and report competitive findings, and be an ambassador for digital within the business.
    • Liaison to internal and external teams to analyze digital metrics and trends to improve and/or add functionality, drive higher engagement and longer time spent on site/page, and increase conversions in an effort to improve program performance.
    • Ensure data, learnings and ROI analysis from marketing campaigns are reported back to the business.
    • Optimize ways to extend the digital campaigns in support of STARZ Originals to affiliate partners extending reach of the digital efforts.
    • Manage budgets, develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive lev
    • Evaluate emerging digital technologies, identify strategic partnership opportunities, advocate for innovation, and employ strategic thinking to connect digital, social, mobile, and evolving media components to the Starz business, ultimately leading viewers to our original programming and driving Starz subscription

    Required Skills

     

     

    • Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Communication or similar discipline preferred; and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 8 years of prior marketing experience with at least 6 years of digital and social marketing experience as a Sr. account executive, marketing manager, or social community manager, including specific experience executing digital marketing plans.
    • Prior supervisory experience; Experience in developing and implementing digital strategies with a proven ability to leverage research and analysis to drive strategic direction, best practices and process improvements; and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experienc
    • Significant experience in the entertainment industry.
    • Demonstrated experience and passion for social media; educated in all current social platforms and new/on-the-horizon platforms.
    • Exceptional people and project management skills; ability to manage relationships with various business units, departments and consultants and external partners/agencies. Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and focus while adhering to strict project timeline and budgets.
    • Must have a flair for writing consumer-facing copy in the social media space, and be able to take direction from creative and marketing teams and run with it.
    • Strong understanding of growth and movement of digital landscape.
    • Experience with a variety of social and digital publishing, monitoring, and analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Adobe Social, Nielsen Social, Spredfast, Telescope, Percolate, etc.
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function well in a collaborative, team oriented environment.
    • Ability to accept changes readily, in job responsibilities and the work environment.
