    Precise Systems is a professional services company currently working for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force; competing as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under several NAICS codes. Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services. We were founded in 1990 and since our establishment we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Patuxent River customer. The Sr. Financial Analyst will track various appropriations budget allocations, obligations, and expenditures via Navy-ERP for active and expired funding in support of PMA-209. Execute funding by generating ZFD/PR in Navy-ERP and CSPT in support of PMA-209. Assist Integrated Product Teams (IPTs); with troubleshooting and resolving CSPT issues. Analyze program requirements, status, budget and schedules. They perform program management, technical, or business case analyses. They will collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs and track program/project status and schedules. They will apply policies and procedures for financial planning.

     

    The Sr. Financial Analyst provides financial and/or accounting support to the activity Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, and other organizational support elements and other activities. Performs analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of: (1) theory and principles; (2) financial and management organization, operations, and practices; (3) pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and (4) related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles. Develops and analyze impacts of budget marks. Assists with development of appropriate acquisition documentation regarding financial interest items. Provides support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls which could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.

    Minimum Educational Requirement: BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, Finance, Math, Computer Science, or Information Services Management is required. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

     

    Minimum Experience Requirement: At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, experience with Navy-ERP (all types of funding), CSPT and Spend Plans included in the four (4) years, there. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DOD 5000 series) is preferred. Experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs is preferred.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

     

    • 3+ years of experience working in production on live events at a post-production facility, on series or feature post-production teams, or in the post-production department at a studio or network

    • An intermediate understanding of the post-production software (ProTools, Avid Media Composer and Premiere)

    • A strong technical understanding of the hardware needed to view/hear content in a high- quality, post-production setting

    • Prior experience in asset management and rights/access management

    • Intermediate computer programming skills are a plus

    • Must have a positive attitude and a “client comes first” mentality

    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

    • Proactive and solutions-oriented

    • Ability to collaborate well with others and take direction while also being able to work well independently

    • Effective communicator; good written and verbal skills
