The Project Manager Localization position reports to the TBD Worldwide Content & Technical Operations and works directly with the Starz Play International team and the Programming Operations team coordinating localization operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track the scheduled global release of Starz Originals series and licensed series and features for the purposes of localization production.

• Clearance of all talent obligations with Starz business affairs teams.

• Communicate to  localization  vendors,  project  details  and  Starz  creative  and  technical requirements.

• Submit to upper management for approval, project delivery schedules and costs details.

• Manage localization data integrity in database with an extremely high level of accuracy and timeliness to reflect production status.

• Schedules and coordinates with Programming Operations, worldwide delivery of feature and series video and audio assets to localization partners for the purposes of localization production.

• Coordinate with  Senior  Manager  Localization  and  exercise  independent  problem-solving techniques to resolve all localization vendor creative and technical issues related to localization production.

• Schedules  and   coordinates   the   return   of   final   localization   packages   (dubs,   subs   and supplemental assets) to Programming Operations.

• Coordinate with localization vendors, technical rejections, communicate supporting information and documentation and ensure timely redelivery of fixed materials.

• Communicates approval all final localized versions.

• Maintains entry of available localized versions and all performance rights terms into internal rights tracking system.

• Set up accounts, submit credit applications and update accounting software for new companies required to complete delivery of all licensed material and/or created elements.

• Monitor all material expenditures, including reconciliation of invoices that may be in different currencies. Evaluate all costs that may fall out of budget guidelines.

• Receive, code and input invoices into accounting software for all designated orders. Follow-up on outstanding billing to ensure invoices are received and processed in a timely manner and resolve all billing discrepancies with appropriate parties.

• Draft and submit international vendor lab wire payment requests for related content expenses with an emphasis on invoice dates, conversion rates and proper banking details. Forward confirmed wire payments from AP to the appropriate vendor and manage wire payment history for future reference.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, TV and/or Video Production or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in film/television/VOD localization production with in depth knowledge of  localization  project  management  and  industry  standard  technical  specifications including audio/video file formats, codecs, video resolutions, audio configurations and electronic delivery technologies.

• Ability to perform in a face paced environment tracking multiple projects in various stages with demonstrated problem-solving ability and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to influence and partner with internal and external teams to deliver tactical and strategic solutions. Able to work through conflicts to negotiate win/win solutions and project a positive image of the organization.
• Knowledgeable in NLE software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, AVID, Protools) and all Mac  and
• Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software applications.
• Self-starter with excellent verbal, written, organizational and communication skills and an outstanding customer service demeanor and attitude.
