Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs is searching for individuals to work in our after school programming within our licensed facility.  LOOKING FOR PART-TIME WORKERS FOR AFTER-SCHOOL CHILDCARE (approximately 2pm-6pm Monday through Friday). KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with organizing and facilitating programs and activities for teen-aged members (12 and older)
• Ensure a safe and positive climate at all times
• Implement Boys and Girls Club programming as directed, maintain a high level of enthusiasm, and be supportive and encouraging to all children participating
• Demonstrate the ability to diffuse problem situations between children
• Keep accurate records, including time sheets, program attendance, behavior/injury reports, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Will consider individuals who have taken early childhood/child care classes
• Preference will be given to those who meet the education requirements to be an assistant teacher in a licensed childcare facility, per DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers (school-age only program), page 11 (Responsibilities and qualifications of staff.

HIRING BONUS

• After 3 months - $100 Bonus
• After 6 Months - $150 Bonus
• After 1 Year - $250 Bonus
• TOTAL OF $500 IN BONUS AMOUNTS
