JOB SUMMARY –
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative who is enthusiastic about helping customers receive the best possible product and service. This position will specifically manage and execute the direct sales of premium doors and windows to builders, architects, designers, general contractors and/or homeowners in both residential and commercial environments.
The candidate must have experience selling higher end products or services to discerning clientele, as well as have a proven history building effective long-term relationships with strategic accounts or customers.
Knowledge or experience in building materials, construction, home design and/or architecture is preferred. A comfort level managing complex projects with a high amount of detail involved is required.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way, while offering a deep understanding of the sales process, and dynamics. The representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. This position will manage leads from customers contacting us to purchase our product but would also include mining for new accounts through outreach efforts, specifically focusing on builders and designers
This role will be working out of our Albuquerque NM office.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
· Win new customers through handling of leads, effective outreach and relationship building
· Service, nurture and grow customers by building long-term relationships
· Create and present compelling building material bids
· Manage complex projects ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date and have what is needed
· Effectively work with cross-functional partners in production, logistics and design to solve problems, meet goals and exceed consumer expectations.
· Provide feedback and submit reports on sales, marketplace activity and trends
· Work with key leaders in production, logistics and design
· Contribute to a positive team culture of support, professionalism, and mutual respect
REQUIREMENTS –
· Must have a good attitude and a desire to contribute to a positive team culture
· Bachelor’s degree (combination of education/experience will be considered)
o This is not an entry level position. The person moving into this role should already have the fundamental skills required, and after a suitable amount of time to learn our business, they will be able to drive success.
· 2+ Years sales experience selling either B2B or B2C
· 2+ Years’ experience as a Sales Executive selling building material product
· Experience collaborating with architects, designers and/or builders
· Existing relationships with Builders, Contractors and/or Architects is a plus
· Proven history building long-term relationships with customers and/or accounts
· Proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets
· Ability to thrive in a fast past environment, multi-task and maintain high personal standards
· Initiative-taker with proven skills in negotiating and driving for results in a complex environment
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
· Door and/or Window experience either in sales or production is a plus
· Custom wood products, manufacturing, architectural millwork, construction, or design experience a plus
· Familiarity with blueprints, architectural drawings and/or design is a plus.
· Familiarity with manufactured wood product sales a plus.
· Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce or NetSuite is a plus
· Fundamental understanding of sales related financial metrics
· Relationship management and communication skills
· Negotiation skills and the ability to close a deal
· Customer service ability and experience
· Strong phone presence and ability to build rapport with customers
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Strong listening skills, and a willingness to ask for clarification as needed
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

· Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
