You will be part of a core team that is exposed to many different technologies, legacy and new, in the day-to-day operations of Stater Bros. Markets.

FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:

• A willingness to learn. A willingness to teach. • Participate in code reviews, source code management. • Have a strong desire and curiosity to drive technical advancement. • Expertise as a Full Stack Developer will be required for your day-to-day activities. • Be able to build new applications from the ground up and maintain legacy applications. • Handle day to day management of multiple applications for various lines of business. • Develop and manage new applications, customer facing and internal, with a core team of developers. • Assist the team in development of functional skills, technical skills, and experience. • Work with departments to accurately gather user-requirements and create functional and technical specifications. • Coordinate as part of a team to design, program, test, and implement application software per system specifications and within project timelines and budget. • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Accurately and effectively communicate project status. • Write user documentation for developed or implemented software. • Planning, implementing, and supporting large application software systems. • Build solutions through application configuration, code development, and integration of data to improve the execution of the business process. • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE or EQUIVALENT combination of formal education and related experience.
• Minimum of 7 years application software development or related experience.
