Job Description

Station Digital Media Inc. is seeking a Technical Business Analyst (BA) to engage in an Automotive related project(s), involving but not limited to the Mobile App space. The Technical BA/PM will be based in our local office as on-site Technical leader facing the client on occasional basis. He/she will be a liaison between the client in various locations, the Software Development Team in China and the Design and Business teams in the United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture of client, internal and third party business and functional requirements
• Perform functional and/or technical analysis of business requirements and document the results
• Document requirements via use case methodology, including process mapping and flowcharts
• Develops technical documentation that includes flow charts, sequence diagrams, mapping documents, and specification documents
• Help to manage key project stakeholders (client, internal and external)
• Serve as the subject matter expert while working with Development and UIUX Design team during the Development and Testing phases of projects
• Serve as liaison between Development/Programming and business owners when capturing requirements
• Use analytical skills to identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
• Lead Testing and Quality Assurance activities. Thoroughly test and document all changes resulting from maintenance and enhancement upgrades.
• Articulate and communicate information effectively to diverse audiences in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
• Support in translation and interpretation of the requirements, requests and comments from the client to the Design, Development and Business Teams
• Occasional visits to client site

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical or business field
• 1+ Year(s) of working experience in fields related to Mobile App development, automobile manufacturing, Engineering, QA or other software development
• Experience with customer presentations and relationship management
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a self-starter approach and outgoing personality
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Organizational skills
• Data Analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and other necessary soft tools to produce the required material (documentation) for the project
• Japanese language skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience working in the field of App development or other IT related areas as a technical lead or project manager
• Experience with client presentations and relationship management
