Downtown New Orleans, Office Building Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm; Every other Saturday

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Stationary Engineer to join our team and help maintain the safe and efficient operation of building systems in a downtown office building. The building is commercial office building with large-scale chiller systems. We offer competitive pay, insurance, PTO, and more.

Responsibilities:

· Operate, maintain, and monitor mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

· Respond to building system alarms, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs.

· Maintain logs and records related to system operations.

· Communicate effectively with property management and contractors as needed.

· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable codes.

· Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 100 lbs, and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces as needed.

Requirements:

· Valid Stationary Engineer license (or equivalent certification required by local jurisdiction).

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial or office building setting.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Availability for scheduled Saturday shifts and flexibility to cover weekdays on short notice.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
