SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN, STATUSPHERE
PAID INTERNSHIP | REMOTE | SPRING 2022
POSITION OVERVIEW
Statusphere is a woman-led product recommendation network that helps people discover products they love from people they trust. The SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN will gain hands-on experience in content curation & tactics for social media while growing skills in graphic design, photography, and marketing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brainstorm and present new ideas to Marketing Team for social media campaigns with the goal of increasing social media engagement and overall following on Statusphere's Instagram & TikTok pages
- Assist with follower growth strategy through the use of hashtag research, basic SEO, and other innovative methods presented to the team
- Design templates or graphics for influencer communication and/or social media use
- Assist with content curation, scheduling and organization
- Engage with social media influencers to garner increased awareness of Statusphere across social media
- Create video content on TikTok and Instagram Reels (being comfortable in front of the camera is a plus!)
- Work with the Influencer Relations team to create monthly email newsletters
- Assist with planning and preparing for quarterly brand photoshoots
- Assist in analyzing social media data to create monthly social media reports
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent knowledge and/or professional experience using Instagram and TikTok
- In the know about timely social media trends, memes, and pop culture references
- Create content that is engaging, creative and error-free while maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
- Graphic design, photography and/or videography experience
- Experience scheduling content and working on templates and graphics for social
- Detail-oriented, strong verbal, written and presentation skills, analytical thinking, personal organization and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter problem solving with the ability to act and react in a professional manner
- Eager to learn about the social media industry

- Working Hours Required: 2-3 full-time days (10AM - 6PM EST)
