Staver Hydraulics, a Parker Hannifin distributor is looking for a proven full-time outside sales representative with a major focus on the industrial seal portion of our business. This position will focus on key players in the military, life science, and industrial sectors. This position involves interaction with our customers, vendors and staff to facilitate all current business and the development of new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Learn product line to assist customers and outside sales representatives in technical discussions.
• Understand customer needs and business to result in customer success.
• Continuously evaluate and update the market potential and competitive landscape.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships. Understand the customer contact network.
• Become trusted advisor by learning about seal compounds, applications and new technology that would be beneficial to our customers.
• Preparation and review of sales reports.

Skills

• Proven sales experience in engineered components. (Seal / O-ring experience preferred)
• Ability to resolve conflict through a manner that benefits all parties.
• Have a drive for results, relationship building, and strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
