We are in search of a committed individual to spark creativity and knowledge in young innovators and analytical thinkers. This position is for a part-time freelancer. You will be guiding engaging, hands-on workshops that encourage creativity and problem-solving abilities in kids. At LTYC, we cherish innovation, teamwork, and cultivating young intellects. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute innovative lesson plans that integrate STEAM and LEGO concepts to engage students effectively. • Aim: Cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in students. • Offer hands-on assistance and encouragement to students throughout STEAM and LEGO activities to ensure comprehension and practical application of ideas. • Aim: Guarantee students' grasp of concepts and their ability to apply them. • Work collaboratively with peers to design a vibrant and participatory learning atmosphere. • Aim: Enhance the overall educational journey for students. • Evaluate student advancements regularly and provide valuable feedback to drive progress. • Aim: Monitor student growth and adjust teaching techniques accordingly. • Coordinate and supervise STEAM and LEGO events and contests at the center. • Aim: Foster teamwork, innovation, and a sense of achievement among students. Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in routine animal care in a zoo or a closely related activity. • History of achieving and consistently exceeding personal goals. • Knowledgeable of GSuite (Google Docs) and able to learn new systems. • Great conversationalist and email writer, with strong rapport-building skills. • Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends and evenings when necessary.
