Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team! As an Office Assistant, you will be learning how we manage our Accounts Receivables and our Accounts Payables. This will include determining where the documents belong within the filing system. You may also have to input information from the file into the computer system to catalog it, or vice-versa. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
AP and AR Filing / Batching
Scan or read incoming documents to determine where they belong within the filing system
Physically file incoming documents to the proper location
Input information into computer systems as needed
Conduct general office duties such as answering the phones, processing mail, and delivering messages
Assist others in the office with locating the necessary documents and files they need during the day
Qualifications
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe programs
Prior experience preferred
Familiarity with Quickbooks or other software also preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and shift focus and priorities, as needed
Strong organizational skills
