  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a Recruiter to join our Human Resources Department. The Recruiter’s responsibilities include reviewing resumes, sourcing potential candidates, contacting/testing potential candidates, scheduling and attending interviews, managing the applicant tracking system, and extending offer terms. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their recruiting experience in an animation studio. This position will be a full-time, 6-month contract with the potential for permanent full-time employment.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain relationships with hiring managers to define and maintain hiring expectations.

    • Work with studio leadership on project-based sourcing strategies.

    • Source potential candidates through applicable websites (e.g. LinkedIn, Vimeo, IMDb, ArtStation, etc.).

    • Assist and train hiring managers with reviewing resumes using our applicant tracking system.

    • Schedule and conduct interviews through Zoom.

    • Create and update job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements for the studio.

    • Prepare and extend offer terms in collaboration with the HR department.

    • Forecast and track quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.

    • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.

    • Maintain prospects & candidates within our animation talent database and productive software.

    • Track and maintain the applicant tracking system feature requests and bugs.

    • Ensure candidates understand and embrace our unique culture.

    • Ensure candidates understand the details of their applicable international or domestic employment types.

    Requirements

    • At least one (1) year of professional experience in Recruiting or Talent Acquisition, or a minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field.

    • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment.

    • Collaborative and open to working cross-functionally with our hiring managers and other staff members throughout the studio.

    • Active listening, with confidence in speaking to people of varied experience levels and backgrounds.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (e.g. Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Gmail).

    • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATSs). Experience with PrismHR Hiring is a plus.

    • Experience with sourcing diverse talent of all levels (entry-level to senior-level) is a plus.

    • Understanding of Animation/VFX/Games roles (e.g. visual development, storyboarding, modeling, surfacing, rigging, animation, effects, lighting, etc.) is a plus.

    • Experience with Slack, Shotgrid, Productive, and/or Jira/Confluence is a plus.

    Physical Requirements

    • Handling/grasping documents or office equipment.

    • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

    • Clear speaking and adequate hearing, sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in person, through video conference, and/or on the telephone.

    • Vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data.

    • Repetitive motions for computer equipment use.

    • Work is to be performed primarily in an office/home-office environment using standard office equipment.

    • While not guaranteed, some day-to-day activities may involve bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and below the shoulder, and/or lifting/carrying/moving work-related equipment.
