  • Responsibilities

    We’re currently looking for a Production Coordinator with previous experience in the 3D animation pipeline. As a PC you are responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities of your team. This can include task tracking, cross-departmental communication, and having the ability to help recognize future hurdles the show may face.

    Responsibilities 

    • Assist the Production Manager in defining the content deliverables, milestones, and various decisions pertaining to the necessary schedule modifications.

    • Work with the entire show’s production and leadership to implement new problem-solving processes that best aid the team and Studio

    • Organize and coordinate the different activities and resources necessary to the production process (planning tests, debugging, vacation leaves, task scheduling, etc.) 

    • Strong proficiency in project tracking utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and various software.

    • Understand the project’s schedule and timeline requirements by managing the tracking of assigned shows. This includes flag potential problems and delays for the Production Manager, Show Runner, and Creative Director.

    • Responsible for managing reviews and the organization of notes and feedback, ensuring they are documented in the proper place afterwards.

    • Efficiently communicate with team members so that they are informed of current project task updates and the advancement of the work.

    • Have in-depth knowledge of the content of the deliverables that they are responsible for.

    • Participate in identifying the technical training, project management, and team needs alongside the teams Production Manager and Creative Leadership.

    • Identify, validate, and communicate the resources and skills needed of the team to allow work to keep on schedule.

    • Collaborate with additional show production to successfully manage the entire project’s  meeting schedule, working to best accommodate the schedule of the team and show leadership.

    • Ensure that the teams have the necessary technical support (DM, Hardware, DT (doc, tools)).

     Requirements

    • 1-2 years of experience working in production for a 3D animation pipeline; specifically with rigging, layout, and animation.

    • Experience with Shotgrid is preferred.

    • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

    • Ability to manage cross-departmental communication and interactions.

    • Capacity to analyze risk and make contingency plans.

    • Be proactive, dynamic and diplomatic.

    • Result-oriented and work under-pressure.

    • Be creative and innovative.

    Physical Requirements

    • Bending, crouching, twisting.

    • Reaching above and/or below shoulder.

    • Handling/grasping documents or office equipment.

    • Sitting extended periods of time.

    • Clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone.

    • Vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data.

    • Repetitive motions for computer equipment use.

    • Work is performed primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment. 

    • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds occasionally.
