  • Responsibilities

    Three Oaks Hospitality is looking for professional grill cooks to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up cooking stations. Our sauté cooks assist our kitchen staff with the ingredient preparation process. This can involve slicing, cutting, and tenderizing vegetables and other ingredients. Sauté cooks must communicate with waitstaff and assist in maintaining inventory. To be successful in this role, you will need to be capable of working in a team and have exceptional grilling abilities.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Sauté vegetables with a high degree of skill
    • Assist in maintaining inventory by tracking, labeling, and replacing key ingredients
    • Prepare vegetables by slicing, cutting, shredding, and tenderizing them as needed
    • Communicate with the head chef and wait staff to ensure the timely delivery of all meals
    • Comply with food and health regulations and safety standards.
    • Maintain a workstation that is both clean and sanitary
    • Communicate with the restaurant manager about any kitchen supplies and upgrades that are needed.
    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Familiar with industry’s best practice

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Culinary school diploma preferred.
    • Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
    • Previous experience in the hospitality industry.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Remain standing for extended periods of time.
    • Bending, squatting and lifting up to 20 lbs. for short distances.
    • Ability to work with varying noise levels
