    Eldercare and special needs planning law firm is looking for a talented and self-motivated Finance Clerk to be responsible for handling the firm’s accounting processes, including accounts payable, processing deposits, financial reporting, payroll, and other general accounting duties. This role will work closely with the firm's management team to ensure the firm is operating profitable and keeping the team updated with the firm's financial status. Responsibilities: • Manage all functions of the accounts payable process for vendor payments, and other forms of money owed to suppliers for goods or services rendered while ensuring all bills are paid in a timely manner. • Maintain vendor files for tracking expenses and price increases. • General accounting tasks including account reconciliations, the closing of books, journal entries, accruals, and related activities. • Perform payroll-related functions, including payroll processing for the biweekly payroll and management of the automated timekeeping system. • Manage and reconcile all bank accounts and individual bank account transactions for the firm checking, savings, and trusts accounts.  • Improve internal processes for requesting checks, payments, or other accounting data. Qualifications: • Associate degree or higher • At least two years of experience in an accounting role • Eye for detail • Strong math skills • The ability to jump between tasks efficiently • Trustworthy • Excellent communicator • Self-motivated Compensation: $20 hourly
