Job Description

We are growing and looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to experience many aspects of corporate accounting and hone your skills.  As the Accounting Intern you will gain experience in the following areas:

• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Payroll (and some HR functions)
• Month end close
• Financial statement preparation
• Financial reporting for owners and stake holders

This is a three month internship with the opportunity to potentially go full-time upon completion.  We are also beginning the acquisition of multiple new senior living communities so you will get the opportunity to help with the transition of their operations to the Stellar Senior Living operating platform.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate would possess the following:

• 4 year degree from an accredited college or university, or near graduation
• Solid fundamental accounting skills
• Desire to learn and grown 
• Show initiative and be a great problem solver
• Love to have fun and work as part of a team

Our accounting crew is pretty easy going and love to joke and have fun, but they also know when to buckle down and get work done (namely month end close).
