    Position Title: Virtual School Psychologist

    Job Overview:
    As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide telepsychology services to students in a virtual learning environment. You will coordinate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to assess and support the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of students. You will deliver virtual therapy/counseling sessions and utilize technology to conduct assessments, evaluations, and consultations. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable about state and federal regulations and policies governing online school practices.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct virtual evaluations and assessments of students' academic, emotional, and behavioral concerns
    • Develop and implement virtual intervention plans for students with academic and mental health concerns
    • Review and analyze the results of assessments and develop detailed reports to guide interventions and recommendations
    • Communicate regularly with school staff and parents/guardians regarding treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
    • Provide virtual mental health services, including counseling, therapeutic interventions, and behavioral support, to students through a secure teleconferencing platform
    • Conduct individual and group virtual therapy sessions, as appropriate
    • Develop and deliver virtual professional development and training sessions for teachers, administrators, and staff on mental health topics, such as stress management and mental health awareness.
    • Utilize technology to manage caseloads, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

    Qualifications:
    • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
    Must have active license in school psychology for the state of TN
    • Experience working with students in a virtual learning environment
    • Proficient in using teleconferencing platforms for virtual assessments and therapy sessions
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and effectively manage caseloads
    • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to telepractice
    • Experience with school-based counseling and intervention programs

    Working Conditions:
    The Virtual School Psychologist works remotely from a home or office setting. The psychologist will be required to provide telepsychology services during regularly scheduled hours and will need to have access to secure and reliable technology.
